Budoshin Jujitsu Kyu Grade Requirements

Introduction

The reference charts below cross-references all kata [techniques] required for various kyu-grade belt ranks in Budoshin Jujitsu with the video and book references showing the specific techniques.
Please be aware that there are additional requirements for any belt performance beyond the on-mat skills presented in this cross-reference chart. Check the Budoshin Jujitsu Student Handbook nnd the Budoshin Jujitsu Black Belt Handbook for additional information and requirements.
Please also be aware that there may be slight differences in execution between the video and book presentations as well as technique references for lower and higher level kyu grades.
I would like to personally thank Sensei Tony Damigo [Godan], past head instructor of the Kern Valley Defensive Arts Dojo, for creating the format for the Individual Belt Rank Requirements below. Also, thanks to Senseis George Cushinan [Godan], Chris Wright-Martell [Shodan] & Robert Rogers [Shodan], and Watkins Gray [Shodan] for updating the Mudansha Syllabus.
